Everestate is a Berlin-based startup up focused on reinventing the real estate buying experience.
My initial role at Everestate was to help develop the concept from very early stages while creating UX metrics and research the investor’s journey while buying and investing in properties in Berlin.
I also helped wireframe and ideate landing pages and other digital marketing materials.
My primary work was with Nannete Lange, who was the project manager, and with UI designer Rober Novak.
We started off by creating a questionnaire for potential users and interviewed Ziegert’s sales team to get a deep insight into how investors work from their experience.
after conducting user interviews we generated 2 persona cards.
these personas then helped us define the tone and character of the product:
In order to understand our users better and how we can aid them, I created a journey map for the investor's buying experience.
with the help of real estate sellers expertise, we crafted a very detailed journey based on their client's input
We decided to focus on the first 2 phases of the journey as an MVP and I created an empathy map for both phases.
The empathy maps helped us to gain a deeper insight into our customers - dive into the customer segments, empathize with the user to understand their motivation to use our product/features, and develop a more precise and adjustable product according to our real user's needs
From this point on our first MVP was up and running and I helped to create the User flow and sitemap accordingly to get a better view of the landing pages and overall product structure structure.
After the platform has started to get more users and traction we iterated on the content we provided on our landing pages in order to adapt it to our user insights.
Through time we discovered that our copy should be simplified in some ways and in order to increase conversion I tested different form structures and different CTA placement to help the users understand the product better and make the actions on the website more clear.
I started by ideating pen & paper wireframes with the content team and then transferring them into high-resolution wireframes which then was handed over to our UI Designer.

Alongside internal presentations and other visual materials I also helped to create Facebook marketing campaigns and mockups, researched keywords and copy that's best suitable to attract our users
